Oh Three Dark Immortal Howling Maidens -

Great Goddesses, you who are also known as the Eumenides the Kindly ones, the Potniae the Awful Ones, the Maniae the Madnesses, and the Praxidikae the Vengeful ones.  You are Crisis.  Birthed from anger, you are Three sisters: Tisiphone, Megaera, and Alecto. You are the punishers of sinners, which you refer to as, "those who walk in darkness." Weeping tears of blood and hissing with hair of vipers, you descend like a storm. As long as there is sin in this world, you can not be banished.  

You are in my family today.   You are with Jonathan and Ebony.  They struggle through their emotional turmoil.  They end their relationship.  They leave each other and us, unsure, uncertain, set a drift....

You say: "We are Crisis.  We are fear.  You can not avoid us.  You can not outrun us.  You must face us.  You must deal with us.  Crisis is accelerated growth and transformation, that brings oppurtunity.  We are among you today.  We are with your family tonight.  You can not help mend this crisis.  Your brother must face this alone.  This is not your battle.  This is not your web.  Yet Crisis in his life, brings crisis to your life...and such is it, that we are here...with you...

Today we tell you to send him a "coocoon".  The time to do this is now....no time to look for ideal conditions, an ideal place...  Close your eyes now.  Deep breath, releasing gently.  Sense/feel/see a gently nurturing coocoon being built about you.  Wrap this coocoon around you, then fill it with Love you care for your loved ones.  Take this love and comfort deep into every cell and dimesion of your being.  Hand over this crisis to us, for we Give it, and Receive...breathe it out, breathe it in..

..let it go..

..find comfort in this safety...find comfort in our dual roles.  Destroyer.  Provider. When ready, take a deep breath, releasing it slowly... then remove yourself from the coocoon when you feel ready.

The coocoon is always there for you.  Just as we are.  

Pray for your family member in need.  Take their spirit into the coocoon with you.  We are with you/them."

Thank you fierce Goddesses.  Be with Jonathan and Ebony.  Lead them to their freedom...what ever that must be...

when feelings aren't voiced

aren't acknowledged

Great Goddess you have come to light my path through this labyrinth of emotion.  You teach me that it is time to nurture my "wholeness", by first, accepting, acknowledging, and expressing my feelings. 

You say to me: "Feelings are what you feel.  Emotions are your reaction to your feelings.  Feelings left unexpressed build up and can create disease, emotional and physical,  for they take up space inside you and forbid healthy energy from flowing freely.  Do not fear that your emotions will render you vulnerable.  Do not fear that they will overwhelm you.  They will not take you to a place that you can not return from!  I say to you, my child, the more you learn to accept and honour your true emotions, the safer you will feel in expressing them.  Feel anger?  Then scream to me.  Feel fear?  Then cry to me.  Feel happiness?  Then laugh with me...

Bless you sweet child.  You will learn..."

Dear Fierce Protectress, Goddess Bast, Goddess Bastet, Welcome,

You come to me today, as I pray, to emphasise the importance of PLAY in my every day life.  I know that the woes and worries of the world are weighing me down a this time...I worry about my career, I feel inadequate in my relationships, I long to re-prioritise my life.  I feel like a failure at this thing called 'adulthood'.  Yet, you come softly to me, saying:

"Be at peace child.  Cast aside your fear and woe.  Life is meant to be LIVED.  You can not change where you are right now.  The great doors have opened and the path continues.  You are on your way, my love.  You are destined for great things.  And yet you place your life on hiatus, as you suffer uncertainty and fear.  Release these things to me.  Feel the freedom of a child.  No regrets.  No fear.  Pure innocent trust.  This can be yours also.  You must simply set yourself FREE...  Lay your cares at my feet and enjoy your life...for it is short...and the underworld comes soon...

Mother Bast, you are Goddess of Play and Protection.  You are sun Goddess - seen by all as the fierce flame of the sun who burned the deceased should they fail one of the many tests in the underworld. You now lay this test before me, your weakened daughter.  I shall take it up.  I shall honour it.  I shall revel in this world.  I shall be thankful for the life that I have and make use of it!

Oh Moon Goddess Hecate -

I sit in the blackness of the full moon night

with my hounds

at the crossroads

the place of choice

All paths lead to the crossroads

I linger at the crossroads in my life right now...I linger because I don't know which way to chose...which way to go...and I meet you oh great Moon Goddess Hecate.  And you are fiercesome in your appearance, and your great dark hounds stand panting beside your feet.  

You say to me: "I am ancient.  I am whole.  I am to be feared.  I am to be adored.  I am Goddess of midwives, Goddess of birth, Goddess of fertility, I am the Dark of the Moon, I am Magick, I am wealth, I give education, I am the Goddess of the Underworld.    You worship me at the places where Three Roads cross and meet.  I walk abroad when the moon is Dark.  I am the triptych.  I am CRONE...."

You come to me at this season of my life, on these three roads, because I have called you...because I am LOST...

You say: "Making a choice is not easy.  It is time for you to let go of wrong or right choices....there is just CHOICE.  You have been putting off making a choice because you are fearful.  You are afraid.  It is time for you to acknowledge where you are, and TRUST... Believe in the synchronisty of your life.  I tell you this --- you can not continue the path that you are currently on, for it is now at its END.  You are tired my child.  You are exhausted.  You must let go now...be open...sleep...and have faith in what will come.  My hands are over you.  My hounds protect you.  Set yourself free..."

DURGA

goddess of boundaries

Dearest Fierce Goddess Durga -

You appear in my life today to give me a strong, clear, hard message.  "Keep your boundaries!"  I have opened myself up to being pulled each way, left and right, repeatedly, over and over, with no end in sight.  I have allowed myself to be used and abused.  I have begun the slow progress towards clear cut breakdown.  You tell me today to STOP.  To RELAX.  To TAKE CARE OF MYSELF.  Part of honouring you Divine Graciousness is to honour myself...  This I had forgotten...

You come into my life this morning to teach me the importance of taking time "for myself".  You say: "Creating boundaries is an act of self-love. Boundaries are vital as they let others know WHO you really are..." 

I am exhausted.  I am tired.  I have tears that sting at the back of my eyes.  I want to lay down and rest for a very long time.  Sweet Durga, Fierce Durga, soothe your child's brow, and wipe away the start of fresh tears...  Instil in me a sense of peace, and impart upon me some of your strength and ferociousness.  Make me a warrior-ess!  Make me have the strength to continue on, to forge a life for myself and my loved ones, that will ultimately bring me peace....

In the past you have helped me get through some terrible times.  Your songs have soothed my soul, and eased the fires of anger and hatred...  You have been with me through the ages.  And now, I find, I need your helping hands again...desperately...

Hold my hands.  Lift me up.  Give me the "guts" and "grit" to ride the wild beasts, just as you did and still do... Just as you are slayer of Demons, I ask that you come and slay MY demons...

Bless Me Fierce Durga.  Your child needs you....

Aho Mother Goddess!  Thank you, thank you, thank you, for the bounty you leave for me each and every day!  You come into my life today to speak strong words and teachings to the very core of my being.  You say:

 "I offer you so much fresh produce; rich fruits, spicy vegetables, and yet you struggle to maintain the habit of regular eating!  You never eat a hearty morning meal, which is part of the problem of why you always feel washed-out and tired everyday!   Listen to my petition - you will eat breakfast early, lunch at noon, dinner at 6, and a cooling tea before sleep - peppermint, chamomile, lavender.  This you will do, and you will feel far more of my nourishing guidance and bountiful thanksgiving in your life.  Food is not your enemy.  Food does not make you fat.  In fact, a lack of food can do the same as too much...

Listen. 

Learn.

Practice.

Give thanks.

As I begin and end each day in a moment of contemplation on each of your beloved visages, I ask that you will give me the gift of your child-like innocence and excitement for each new day that confronts me.

As you are - fair Eostre - the Goddess of new growth, expansion, and utimately enlightenment, please grant me a moment of your knowledge.  Let me begin to understand the need for LETTING GO! 

I have seen you in my life these past weeks, aiding me in the spring cleaning that my life so desperately needs.  I have seen you in my clean carpets, my spotless dishes, and my peace-filled loungeroom.  I have seen you fair Eostre, I acknowledge your Divine ability to transform my life in new improved directions, flushing out the old rubbish, bringing in your new - wiser - CALM....

Help me to let go....

Before I take my tired self to bed on this warm evening, I take time to meditate on the lessons that you offer up to me...

You are the teacher of strength and responsibility.  As you did in your life, so shall I do in mine.

My life is my own, so I shall reap what it is that I sow.  These words you offer point me towards a deeper undestanding.  As it is said: 'we are the makers of our own prisons', so to is the truth -  let this No Longer be our Crutch, nor our Excuse!  Let this be our FREEDOM...

I ask that you might help me by instilling within me a sense of purpose and discipline.  I ask that you may aid me with my marks and with my motivation.  May you be a beacon of light and support for me when I begin to stumble.  May you also aid me in the motivation to be true to my word; may my word mean something, may my word be my bond.  May you encourage me to get up earlier, to have a zest for life that simply can not be stifled!  May you show me a mirror of myself that can only reflect my full potential, and pushes me to pursue it!

Lastly, sweet Goddess, may the light of your crescent moon lead me into the paths of my mind and aid me in my meditation practice.  Draw me near.  Hold me close.  Guide me long, and far, and be with me as I climb the mountains and foothills of my destiny.  Grant me your Divine focus, Love, and Knowledge.

You come into my life this week to tell and teach me lessons of the energy, the Divine energy, flowing through me and around me...always...

This energy is known as divine Kundalini.

Your kundalini flows equally through all of your chakras, and you ask me to pay particular attention to the parts of my life that are "out of whack", or "out of energy", and then - to fix them!

You say:  "Learn your chakras and work with them.  They will be of such value in your work of white light!  I open your kundalini energy to make you into a Divine Beacon for the teacher's lessons to pour into.  You are blessed among our children.  Your life will be unbearably full of energetic light and love.  BE Love.  BE Kundalini.  Work on your base chakra and see peace...."
